Grieving Widower Visits Wife’s Fresh Grave and Sees Little Boy There, ‘This Is My Mom’ Boy Says

Bob and his wife, Nancy, struggled to get pregnant until he didn’t want children. One night, they argued about it, and she left in her car, never returning due to a car accident. When Bob visited her grave a few days later, he saw a little boy there who amazed him to his core. Bob got out of his car and sauntered to his destination!

He’d had a difficult few days, and heaps of regrets had been flowing through his thoughts since the occurrence. As he went over the green grass, he took a deep breath and reflected on the last few years of his life… Bob and Nancy married in their twenties and spent years focusing on their jobs.

They had just graduated from college and needed all the money they could get to get started in life. As a result, children were prioritized. But as time passed, Bob came to believe that having children was a waste of time and money. Meanwhile, Nancy genuinely desired them, so they began trying for a child in their 30s. However, nothing seemed to work.

Nancy saw a physician, who prescribed various fertility medications, but they were ineffective. Bob began to worry that he might be the source of the problem, but he refused to consult a specialist for himself. “What are your plans? Please return! We haven’t finished yet!”

It had nothing to do with his pride. He wanted a child less and less as they tried and failed to have one. He began reading about childless families and regarded it as an option for himself. They were wealthy and could do whatever they pleased. A child would be an annoyance to him. Nancy, on the other hand, desired to be a mother above all else.

“Wouldn’t it be nice to play football in our yard with our kid?” she’d say as they passed by infant and toy stores. When she said stuff like that, Bob would barely hum. Nancy grew tired of being ignored and never mentioned it again. Bob thought she was finally ready to be a childless couple, but he was mistaken.

Nancy began arriving home late from work at some point, and Bob became suspicious. She never did it, even during the most difficult period of her career in her twenties. She was comfortable at work and held a prominent position in her organization. As a result, Bob was convinced that Susan was cheating on him and was planning to leave. That’s what precipitated the worst night of his life.

Nancy had just returned home from another late night, and Bob was over it. As soon as she walked in, he exclaimed, “Where the hell have you been?” His demeanor had struck her by surprise. “What exactly do you mean? I was working.” “That is not true! Please tell me the truth!” “What? I’m not… lying “Nancy murmured something, but her gaze shifted to the side, and Bob detected her hesitancy.

“What are you hiding f?” he shouts, causing her to shudder. “Bob, please stop shouting. I’m not doing anything incorrectly, “She began. Bob, on the other hand, was so enraged that he didn’t want to hear anything else. “HOW DARE YOU? YOU AWFUL WOMAN!! I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU’D GO OFF LIKE A FLOOZY AND FIND A MAN TO GIVE YOU KIDS AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!”

Nancy had had enough after hearing Bob say those horrible remarks. “I WILL NOT TOLERATE YOU INJULTING ME IN MY OWN HOME!” she retorted. “AND A CHEATING WIFE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!” Nancy smirked and rushed out of the house. “WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS? PLEASE RETURN! WE ARE NOT DONE HERE!” “I’ll return when you calm down!” she replied, getting into her car and driving away.

Bob had seen Nancy for the last time. She perished in a vehicle accident that night, and he was now visiting her burial, his heart heavy with sadness. He could’ve done so much differently. He should not have made those charges against her, but he had no other choice. And he’d never know the truth now.

He approached the tombstone but came to a halt when he noticed a small boy sitting in front of it on the grass, talking to it. A few feet away, he noticed two adults watching the child and waiting for him to finish. Bob was perplexed by what was going on and proceeded to approach the child. When the child observed someone else, he glanced up, and Bob hesitantly greeted him. “Hello, young man. What exactly are you doing here?”

For a little moment, the child pursed his lips and returned his gaze to the tombstone. “Hello, this is my mother.” Bob’s brows furrowed and he almost backed up, but he kept his cool and remarked, “Really? Because that’s my wife, and we didn’t have any children “He continued, attempting to make his statements sound amusing. The child raised his head and continued, “She did say she was going to adopt me shortly. And she told me I was going to have a father as well.”

Finally, Bob noticed the two adults who had been a few feet away approaching. “Hello, sir. Are you Bob Macklin?” one of them asked. “Yes, I am,” he answered, still confused.”Hello, sir. It’s very nice to meet you. We work at the local orphanage. I’m Sarah and this is Stanley. Nancy Macklin had been visiting Kurt for several weeks before she passed.

She told us her intention to adopt him, but she always said that her husband was not convinced yet,” Sarah explained, and everything finally amazed, but this was better than thinking she had been unfaithful to their marriage. Still, she should’ve told him.

“I wasn’t aware of what she was doing,” Bob revealed, surprising the orphanage workers.”Oh, I see. Well, we heard about her death, and it was hard to explain everything to Kurt, so we brought him here. I hope that’s alright,” the woman continued. “My deepest condolences, sir.” Bob thanked her and watched the boy talking to his wife.

After a few minutes, he came to an important decision that he hoped would honor his wife and make up for his actions on the day she died. With the help of Sarah, he started visiting Kurt himself, and the kid was excited to tell him all about his visits with Nancy. Soon enough, they approved him as a foster parent for Kurt, and years later, he adopted him officially.
