Builders in Chinese Taizhou were working, widening the roadway, and suddenly came across something strange on the ground. Oddly enough, no one knew what it could be.
Whatever it was, it was clearly older than the city itself. Soon they began to dig up the ground around the unknown thing to understand what it was. It wasn’t just a box they’d been digging up for hours. The workers eventually realized it was a tomb.
They enlisted the help of archaeologists to conduct additional excavations. They were fortunate to be able to dig up the grave without damaging it. At first sight, it appeared that there were panties, silks, and an unknown liquid.
But as they looked closer, they discovered something else. Inside, there was a body. It was a mummy, not simply a body. Archaeologists have determined that this mummy was a lady 700 years ago.
Archaeologists determined that this woman was from the Ming Dynasty after scrutinizing the contents of the grave, jewelry, and the manner in which the body was covered.
The body was so beautifully preserved that it was easy to extract it from the grave. The majority of the materials are likewise in excellent condition. Many people overlook the fact that China is far older than, say, the United States.
China’s history dates back thousands of years. Such incidents are not uncommon in this area. Imagine coming upon a 2000-year-old mummy beside your parking spot!
