During dinner with Chinese family friends, they asked the schoolgirl what name she would recommend choosing for their child. After all, there has long been a tendency in China to choose an additional English name in case the child goes to study or work abroad.
Bo was very surprised by such a request because choosing a name for a child is such a responsible step. However, she soon found out how often the Chinese give their children very funny and ridiculous English-language names, and decided that she could change that.
In terms of the Internet, China has a rather stringent regime. Because citizens cannot access well-known English-language websites to choose names, they frequently rely on brand names and world-famous popular culture.
