This Woman’s Pregnancy Is High Risk But her Husband Wants To Go On A Trip With His Colleagues Instead Of Staying With her. After that…

When you’re expecting your child, the last thing you want to happen is for your partner to leave you on your own especially when their reason to go is to party with friends. That’s exactly what happened to one woman who also shared that her pregnancy is high risk. The mother took to Reddit and asked people for some advice after her husband planned to go on an all-inclusive celebratory trip with his colleagues!

“My husband is planning an all-expenses-paid celebratory vacation to Europe with colleagues soon” (and is adding a couple of days to see family). “I will be 32/33 weeks pregnant with our second child at the time of his trips,” she added. “Although I’d love for him to go and have some fun, there are various reasons why I’m not sure he should go on this vacation.”

The mother stated that her pregnancy is high risk and that she is already caring for their kid. She is also more likely to develop pre-eclampsia. The woman stated that she did not want to tell her husband that she could not accompany him, but she did express her dissatisfaction with his departure.

“Am I the a***ole that makes him feel horrible about going on this trip?” Or is he the a***ole for prioritizing this vacation over the well-being of his wife and children?” Reddit users rushed to reassure the mother that she was not wrong to seek her husband’s support. “If he doesn’t reconsider this trip and stays home,” one person said, “I’ll evaluate the entire marriage!”

Another wrote: “If your husband is still planning on going on this trip, regardless of the risk to you and baby (not to mention the toddler!), then he’s the a***ole and you need to remind him that right now, you’re the priority, not a European holiday.” What are your thoughts on this?
