This Grandma Cracks Open Sandstone Rock She Kept For 45 Years and what she finds inside…

Hannah Stonjeck recently shared the story of her grandmother and the sandstone rock that she has been holding onto for some time now. This woman has been in possession of the sandstone rock in question now for 45 years. For the past four and a half decades, she has been wondering if there is a fossil hiding inside of it. Now, we finally get to see what is inside after all these years!

The grandmother has the patience necessary to tap along the surface in a slow and deliberate manner so that she can loosen the rock up a bit. Once the family starts to gather around Grandma for the big reveal, that is when things really start to get interesting. Once she starts to hit the rock a bit harder, the sandstone begins to split. We love watching the cracks on the rock grow bigger and bigger.

Now at long last there is some separation of the sandstone. Grandma even tells the audience a few interesting facts. Once she found the rock, she hauled it all over southern Alberta. It’s impressive how patient everyone is being. In this video, patience, and perseverance pay off. When the grandmother’s sandstone rock is finally opened, what will we find?

She discovers the most astounding thing. The entire family has gathered to witness this momentous occasion, and it is truly breathtaking. A wonderful surprise awaits those who open the sandstone rock. While she was out exploring, she discovered a fossilized crayfish. Didn’t this grandmother’s perseverance pay off handsomely? You’re a huge fan of fossils, and we’ve only recently realized that you could keep one for so long. Okay? Please don’t be harsh on us for this.
