Members of the royal family are poised to inherit a large sum of money. Queen Elizabeth’s $447 million fortune will be divided among them now that she has gone.
People aren’t only interested in money; the Queen was also renowned for having a sense of style, so who will receive all of her clothes and jewelry? More than likely, it will be shared by Queen Consort Camellia and Kate Middleton.
According to the Daily Mail, Ingrid Seward, the editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, said Kate Middleton would most likely inherit many of the outfits since she is the future Queen. She will also be given a large amount of personal jewels.
What may pique the curiosity of many people is the fact that Middleton will be given first dibs on any jewels, with Camellia receiving whatever is left over. There will also be some of the most noteworthy artifacts that a Royal Trust has preserved. They will be on exhibit in a museum in the near future.
“I would assume some of her landmark clothes, like as her Jubilee ensembles or the jackets and caps worn at royal weddings, would undoubtedly be saved for historical reasons,” Royal expert Christine Ross told the Daily Mail.
She went on to discuss the historical significance of those items, as well as their personal significance to individuals. Some of the items that will most likely be saved include her bridal gown and coronation gown.
The Queen recognized that what she wore and did had an impact on others and would go down in history. Any non-historical attire would be handed to family members, including her grandchildren and great-granddaughters.
Some of the Queen’s ball dresses might be adapted to suit a member of the royal family, such as the Princess of Wales, Princess Beatrice, and Eugene, or even Princess Charlotte or Lilibet.
Some of the jewels, including as the Queen’s several tiaras, are expected to be divided among members of the royal family. Some will also be added to the Trust’s collection. Because they will be worn by the reigning monarch’s wife, Queen consort Camellia will also get a significant quantity of apparel and jewels.
