Of course, we’re referring to The Temptations! While the group had many hits over the course of their career, “My Girl” has to be the most memorable. “My Girl,” written by lyrical geniuses Smokey Robinson and Ronald White, was first performed in 1965 and has since become a timeless classic.
According to legend, The Temptations overheard Robinson and White rehearsing the lyrics one night while both were members of The Miracles, and begged the two to let them record it. As they say, the rest is history! The Temptations’ performance below perfectly encapsulates their talent;
