How these 2-year-old girl and a 3-month-old boy abandoned along a riverbank. Who left them alone?

I can’t imagine what some parents go through when they decide to abandon their children. Nobody knows the precise reasons for such actions, and I don’t believe there is any justification for giving up a child, but who are we to judge? A few days ago, US Border Patrol agents came across an unusual sight. They came across two children who were alone and unsupervised along a riverbank.

The girl was approximately two years old, and the baby in the carrier was only three months old. A note under the carrier stated that the children were from Honduras and were siblings. “At approximately noon, Border Patrol Riverine agents assigned to the Eagle Pass South Station were performing boat operations when they noticed an unusual color on the riverbank,” the Border Patrol said in a statement.

“As agents investigated the item, they discovered two small children who had been abandoned. “A note hidden beneath the infant safety carrier revealed that the 2-year-old girl and 3-month-old boy, both Honduran nationals, were siblings.” Nobody knows how long it took from the time they were abandoned until they were discovered. Fortunately, neither of them required medical attention. They were in good health.

“A thorough search of the area was conducted, and no additional individuals were encountered,” the Border Patrol added in its statement. According to the Washington Examiner, the children were taken to Uvalde, Texas, for processing immediately after they were rescued. We sincerely hope that the siblings will be able to find a loving home and be given the opportunity to grow up together.
