She points her hairdryer at the drivers as if it were a speed gun in an attempt to make the road safer. To her surprise, many drivers appear to be “aware” of her “speed gun,” slowing down when she points the hairdryer at them. Jean explained that the idea came from a friend who told her that the trick is used to slow down speeding cars in France. “This street is the main road into the estate, so it’s busy, and it also serves as a school drop-off point,” she explained.
