Why this Sweet Little Girl Dresses Up As Her Teacher is stunning!

You may never realize the impact you have on others. Jaime Deigh is a teacher at R.E. Baker Elementary in Bentonville, Arkansas, who has influenced the lives of many students. Her class read Marion Jensen’s book “Almost Super,” and then they had a week-long activity of dressing up to different themes each day. Following their book reading, the school held a “Spirit Week” in which students and teachers dressed up in costumes for each day’s theme – “Super Comfy Day” on Monday,

“Super Kind Day” on Tuesday, “Super Bright Day” on Wednesday, and “Super Silly Day” on Thursday. To cap off the week, they held a “Superhero Day” on Friday, where students dressed up in their favorite superhero costumes and came to school. Caroline Carlson, one of the students, had a unique superhero choice: she wanted to dress up as her Teacher Jaime. Caroline’s mother, Cortney Carlson, stated, “All week, Caroline was saying, ‘I want to be like Miss Deigh.’

” ‘She’s a superhero,’ she says. So she called Teacher Jaime and asked what she was going to wear on the last day of “Spirit Week.” Jaime, the teacher, and Cortney coordinated their outfits for the day. Caroline and her “superhero” were dressed identically in matching R.E. Baker Elementary T-shirts, a denim jacket, jeans, and tennis shoes.

Jaime, the teacher, was moved by the little girl’s gesture. She stated that in her 19 years of teaching, she had never seen such a thoughtful gesture from a student. “You just never know the impact that you have on someone every day just through daily interaction,” she explained.
