Ultrasound reveals that the newborn has been sleeping in the same comfortable position from the womb.

Michael, a cute infant boy, demonstrates that old habits die hard, as he has been doing the same exact stance since before he was born. Sarah Kelleher Steppling, Michael’s mother, was surprised to see her unborn baby pose in a very peaceful manner with his tiny arms above his head when she did the ultrasound when she was 39 weeks pregnant with Michael.

Sarah didn’t think much of Michael’s strange position at the time. She noticed something when she watched the sonogram again after Michael was born. Michael’s stance during the ultrasound was identical to the one he has been striking while sleeping.”When I first noticed him sleeping with his arms up, I didn’t immediately make the connection to the ultrasound.”

“When he was a few weeks old, I saw the ultrasound hanging on my mother-in-law’s fridge and that’s when it hit me,” Sarah wrote on LoveWhatMatters. “I did a side-by-side comparison and was astounded by how similar they were in every detail.” I opted to share it on Reddit since I thought it was intriguing stuff that others could be interested in seeing.”

“Also, it’s nice to communicate with the outside world after spending countless days inside nursing a newborn,” Sarah added. Sarah, like any new mother, was overjoyed to have Michael in her life and described it as a life-changing experience.”Having my son has changed my life.” I just look at him and start crying because I adore him so much. He’s a laid-back little guy. “Keep him fed, changed, and cuddled, and he’ll be happy,” Sarah explained.

“My mom says my husband Ross and I don’t know how lucky we got with him,” she continues. “I’m excited to see what kind of child this baby grows up to be.” I’m excited to hear what his voice sounds like. My husband always played guitar to my pregnant belly, and I was in the musical ‘Sister Act’ during my second trimester, so we’re anxious to see if any of that rubbed off on him and if he’ll be musically inclined when he’s older. Of course, I’m looking forward to hearing him say Mommy for the first time!”
