OFF THE RECORD: A 17-year-old man who went missing in 2015 while walking his dogs was discovered injured eight years later. A 17-year-old boy went missing in northwest Houston, Texas, while out walking his two dogs in 2015. He was eventually found alive and well. Rudy Farias was discovered lifeless in front of a church, according to local news outlets.His scalp was allegedly flowing with blood, and he was covered in bruises and cuts.

He is currently in the hospital recovering.Authorities cut off their search for the teen on March 10 after many days of searching. After obtaining new information, officials continued the search on March 12, 2015, only to call it quits the next day.After 8 years, on July 2, 2023, the Texas Center for the Missing stated that Rudy had been “located safe.”

“Please continue to keep Rudy and his family in your thoughts and prayers as he recovers in the hospital,” the charity said on Twitter. According to KTRK, the mother believes her son was abused. She went on to say that her son, now 25, can only speak a few phrases at a time and sometimes takes the fetal posture when she tries to converse with him.
