He “blew everyone away” – a schoolbag-clad kid pianist plays a virtuoso sonata at London’s King’s Cross station. A group of Hull children traveled south last week on a ‘London Experience,’ taking in the energy, sights, and history of the UK city.
But it concluded with its own musical buzz, due to an astonishing impromptu Mozart performance on a train station piano. The group, headed by the charity Hull and East Yorkshire Children’s University, was waiting for their train home at Kings Cross station after an action-packed day. This is when a musically inclined student discovered an empty public piano.
With his rucksack still on and no need for a piano stool, the young maestro took up the instrument.”What happened next blew everyone away,” the organization stated on Facebook after the concert. Watch the video below…
