Bride plans a moving tribute for her deaf groom in secret, which makes him cry.

When it comes to showing love for another person, there is no better time than a wedding. The coming together of two lives is by definition a once-in-a-lifetime event, and most people do everything they can to make their day as special as possible. For those of you who are married, we’re sure that your wedding days were wonderful, but we had to highlight one bride and what she did to show how much she loved her husband.

Liz Shoesmith and her husband Scott live in Caringbah, Australia. They use sign language to talk to each other. You see, Scott is deaf, so there were some things they had to work around on their wedding day. The couple didn’t let this stop them from planning every little thing so that the day would be great for them and their guests. Not one thing was done by herself; Liz planned that as a surprise for her soon-to-be husband.

On the big day, Liz stopped at the end of the path instead of going to the altar with Scott. Don’t worry, though—this wasn’t just jitters at the last minute. Not at all. Liz was getting ready for the show. At the same time that Liz wore her beautiful white dress with silver patterns, Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years” was playing in the background. Liz signed the words for her husband when they came in. She had been practicing for a while, so every move she made was done with sure ease.

Scott, on the other hand, lost his breath. He started to cry as his beautiful bride showed how much she loved him most beautifully.Liz told Love What Matters, “I’m not going to lie, I was scared before the ceremony.” But once I looked into his eyes, I never took my eyes off of him. It was a special moment just for the two of us. His tears stopped for a short time, but then they came back during the song. He’s seen the movie a hundred times, but it still makes him cry every time.

At the end of her performance, Liz joined Scott at the altar, and her husband led the crowd of family and friends in applauding his beautiful wife. Scott may not be able to hear everything, but Liz’s show was something he will always remember.
