Don’t you love it when two or more foods go together and just really, really work? That’s this Raspberry Dip for you. You might think it’s sweet when you hear the name, but it’s not. At least not all the way. It’s more of a savory dip with a sweet topping. There are plenty of sweet raspberry preserves to spread on a cracker, but there’s also a creamy mix of sharp cheese, green onion, and other tasty things.

All of that might sound crazy, but the sweet and spicy foods go really well together. You’ll understand. Pecans and green onions come first. Cut them up.They should then be mixed into a full cup of mayo with a lot of cheddar cheese. You could also add some salt and pepper.Put that in a dish to serve…

… and then put raspberry jams right out of the jar on top of it. If you don’t want to bake it, put it in the fridge for at least an hour. This will bring everything together and make it easier to scoop. My favorite thing to eat with these is butter crackers. They taste good with both sweet and salty foods.

This is the kind of food that makes you wonder what’s inside it after just one bite. I first tried it at a party and was only expecting the sweet taste of the fruit on top. You can’t quite put your finger on it—maybe because the mix is so different—but you can’t stop dipping. That makes it a party favorite!
