I have a little secret for you: Impossible Taco Pie isn’t really impossible. It’s actually very, very simple. What is or seems impossible is how to put a bunch of different materials into a pie dish all at once and get a savory dinner pie that stays together, has layers, and can be cut into pieces.

That sounds a lot like magic! Delicious magic. Most of the time, a “impossible” pie is made with Bisquick batter that is poured over other ingredients and “impossibly” turns into a crust in the oven. Another impossible pie that looks a lot like a pie is the Impossible Coconut Rum Pie. This one, on the other hand, looks more like a tamale pie. No matter what you call it, there’s no denying that it tastes great.

Ground beef that tastes like tacos, tangy salsa, a little cheese, and some cozy Bisquick magic to hold it all together. My family loves it plain, but it’s also great with sour cream, guacamole, or more salsa on top.
