This woman found an old, filthy luggage in the woods. What was inside astonished her.

On her way to work, a nurse from Essex, England, noticed an abandoned suitcase on the pavement. Her intuition led her to approach and investigate further. When the woman opened it, she was treated to a true surprise! A bag holding 15 kittens aged three to five weeks old was found in a bush.

The suitcase was punctured with multiple holes so that air could enter, allowing the wretched kittens to breathe. Whoever abandoned them must have intended them to live. The “luggage” was also intentionally dumped near a well-known animal preserve.

Alison Gamble, a shelter employee, rushed to the nurse’s help and examined the animals. She was delighted with the kittens’ condition: “They are in good condition, and it’s clear that the kittens have been separated from their mother.”

Because the kittens have not been weaned, they must be fed by the individual to avoid nutritional difficulties.Fortunately, personnel at the care center are willing to care for the 15 individuals until they are adopted. At the time, the kittens are too little and frail to be released.

“Six of them show some signs of eye infection, while the others seem fine for a while, but we want to monitor them closely to make sure their health is okay.”Watch the video below for the full story of the lucky kittens:
