Adele, an iconic singer, has been forced to postpone her Las Vegas residency for an entire month due to an illness that has “taken its toll” on her voice. The 35-year-old British dynamo issued a message on social media apologizing for taking a break from her schedule, stating, “Sadly, I have to take a breather and suspend my Vegas residency.
“I was unwell at the end of the final leg and throughout my break. I hadn’t had a chance to fully recover before shows resumed, and now I’m unwell again, which has sadly taken a toll on my voice.Adele went on to say that she was under ‘medical orders’ not to perform until her voice was properly rested.
She went on to say, “So, per the doctor’s directions, I have no choice but to rest properly. The remaining five weekends of this leg will be moved to a later date. We are still finalizing the details, and you will receive the information as soon as possible. The following dates have been postponed: March 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, and 30. The singer captioned her post, “I love you, I’ll miss you like mad, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience x.”
