Kensington Palace reported on Kate Middleton’s health a few weeks after the Princess of Wales left the hospital after surgery on her abdomen. Several news sources say that Middleton is “doing well” as she continues to rest at home 13 days after her surgery. Currently, the Royal Family has not given any more information about what exactly Kate was sick with that needed surgery, and it is not clear if they ever will.
Also, there haven’t been many public updates on Kate’s health, which has led to a lot of speculation that could have been avoided. One of the claims that Kensington Palace had to deny was made by Spanish journalist Concha Calleja, who said that the Princess had been put into a coma after her treatment. It was strongly rejected by the Royal Family, who have since said that the Princess of Wales is making good progress. Kate will probably not be able to go to any more family events until at least after Easter this year.
Kensington Palace said twice this morning that Prince William would not be going to a memorial service for the late King Constantine of Greece because of a “personal matter.”The Palace quickly added that Kate Middleton is “doing well,” which may have been done to put an end to the reports before they got worse Reports say that William was supposed to read at the service for King Constantine in St. George’s Chapel, but he called the Greek family to say he couldn’t make it.
According to the Daily Express, King Charles would also miss the service because he is getting treatment for cancer. Instead, Queen Camilla would lead the Royal Family at the funeral.
