Following the death of a Royal Family member’s husband, alarming reports about “missing” Kate Middleton have emerged.

Rumors about Kate Middleton’s illness continue to circulate, some weeks after the Princess of Wales returned home following successful abdominal surgery. The general lack of information about the 42-year-old has fueled rumors that her health may be worse than the Palace is letting on, with some calling her “missing” online. Updates from the Royal Family have been few and far between recently, and the family itself is going through a strange period of instability.

We do know that Kate’s treatment at the London Clinic was serious enough to need her hospitalization for 13 days. She is currently recovering at home in Windsor but is not anticipated to return to royal activities until after Easter. While The Firm is typically tight-lipped when it comes to disclosing sensitive material to the public, the fact that there has been no image of Kate since her hospitalization in late January has raised worries in some places.

Is it possible that the future Queen merely wishes to exercise her right to seclusion and recuperate on her terms? Not, albeit a slew of other sad events involving the Royal Family do not help present a rosy picture. First, there’s King Charles to consider. The monarch, who has waited longer than any other heir apparent in history to ascend the throne, was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer earlier this month while having treatment for an enlarged prostate.

Unlike Kate’s rehabilitation, Charles’s has been well-documented so far. The King has been photographed multiple times traveling between London (where he is receiving treatment) and the royal retreat of Sandringham. Then there’s Prince William’s decision to cancel a planned appearance at a memorial for his late godfather, King Constantine of Greece. Earlier this week, it was claimed that the Prince of Wales had “personal matters” to attend to, sparking speculation that his absence may have been related to his wife.

Last but not least, Lady Gabriella Windsor’s husband, Tom Kingston, died unexpectedly. Gabriella is the daughter of Prince Michael of Kent, Queen Elizabeth’s first cousin. According to sources, Mr Kingston married Lady Gabriella, 42, in 2019, in a wedding attended by both Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

According to the Daily Mail, paramedics were rushed to Kingston’s parents’ home in Gloucestershire, United Kingdom. His death is not being investigated as suspicious. With all of that going on, it’s no surprise that many are wondering how Kate Middleton is doing, especially since she hasn’t been seen since before her surgery.
