You should know what it means if you find these creepy bugs in your home.

Most of us don’t mind some bugs, but we all have to deal with some kind of bug in our homes at some point every year. When you live in the country, bugs like flies, ants, spiders, and more may come into your home (or at least try to) during the summer and other times too.To many people, the thought of bugs this time of year doesn’t bother them.

You can make webs in my corners if you want to, and flies buzzing around the kitchen once in a while is fine with me. Earwigs are wrong, though… A lot of people have seen earwigs in their homes, even if they didn’t know what they were. Just so you know, these bugs are about the least cute things you can find. It looks like they could sting or bite you, but they’re not dangerous at all.

Earwigs are still not liked by most people who have them in their homes. Well, of course, I do, which is why I thought this tip would be so useful. Someone on Facebook called Alicia Alexander wrote about a tried-and-true way she got rid of earwigs. I think other people might be interested in reading it too. Put a shallow bowl with half a cup of olive oil in it in your yard or on your deck, says Alicia. This is the best way to catch earwigs.

People say that Alicia caught this many earwigs in less than 24 hours, as shown in the picture below: After 36 hours, this is still the same bowl…Folks say that earwigs are drawn to the sweet olive oil, but once they get inside, they can’t get out. Earwigs can be a pain, but this might be the best way to get rid of them!

Earwigs that show up in your home in large numbers should not scare you, but it could mean that the wood is rotting. If your home has any wooden structures, you should check them for earwigs and other bugs that like to eat wood. It’s not a big deal if earwigs are looking for better places to live in your house. This is normal, and the way they look probably won’t change anything about you.
