An elderly lady was stopped and directed into a parking place. A young man in his new red Mercedes quickly drove around her and parked in the place she was looking for. The little old lady was so unhappy that she approached the man and said, “I was going to park there!” The man was a terrific clever alec. He said,

“That’s what you can do when you’re young and bright.” This made the lady even more unhappy. As a result, she got into her car, backed it up, stomped on the throttle, and crashed into his Mercedes.

“What did you do that for?” the young man asked as he hurried back to his car. The little old lady simply smiled and informed him, “That’s what you can do when you’re old and rich!”
