On their 13th wedding anniversary, Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a never-before-seen photo, and everyone is saying the same thing.

As they mark 13 years of marriage, Prince William and Kate Middleton released a never-before-seen wedding portrait this week. The Prince and Princess of Wales married on April 29, 2011 (we know, how was it that long?). They posted the following photo yesterday to honor their poignant anniversary.Kate is seen carrying her bridal bouquet in the aforementioned black-and-white photograph. William stands behind her, gently wrapping his arms around her waist.

The caption on the shot, which was shared on the couple’s social media sites, said, “13 years ago today!”The new image was credited to Millie Pilkington. The portrait photographer also captured the image of King Charles and Queen Camilla, which was made public to honor the first anniversary of their coronation. Ten years before their wedding, Prince William and Kate met as undergraduates at Scotland’s University of St. Andrews in 2001.

The couple’s three children, Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (8), and Prince Louis (6), currently live together.Even while the unveiling of the never-before-seen wedding photo may not seem like a big event, after Kate’s tragic cancer diagnosis, royal fans worldwide will appreciate any update. The Princess of Wales was the subject of much curiosity and discussion earlier this year after disappearing from public life in January for what Kensington Palace termed as a “planned abdominal procedure”.

Finally, Kate informed everyone that she had been diagnosed with cancer; however, she did not specify the type of disease or its stage. She claimed in the same video that she will be undergoing chemotherapy to combat the condition. Despite the fact that William returned to his royal duties last week, little has been heard regarding the Princess’ health or condition since.”He is a highly dependable, powerful individual. She doesn’t feel alone in this since William is right beside her,” an insider told PEOPLE about the royal couple’s connection.
