Princess Kate visited Wimbledon on July 14th, her second appearance since her cancer diagnosis, and the fans gave her an emotional standing ovation.Kate walked inside the stadium on Sunday morning to witness the men’s singles finals alongside her daughter, Princess Charlotte, and sister, Pippa. As she approached the Royal Box, the entire audience rose to applaud and cheer, which was visibly moving for Kate.

“When [Kate] usually comes in, she walks down the steps and into her seat,” said Karwai Tang, an entertainment and royal photographer. “She doesn’t usually stand and wave. But she stood for a while, taking everything in. It was great for her to acknowledge it and appreciate the ovation.”However, Princess Kate was not the only one affected by the sentiment. Charlotte, 9, beaming as Wimbledon fans greeted her mother warmly. She took her seat as Kate waved, thanked the audience, and watched with delight.
