Bandit the bull lived his entire life attached to a chain. Sadly, he never had the opportunity to experience freedom and liberty. But now, after so many years in prison, everything was about to change. Christian, a shelter worker who has dedicated his life to rescuing animals and showing them love and respect, was determined to set Bandit free the moment he learned about his story.

He was aware that Bandit’s life was shared by far too many bulls, but he was determined to change things one at a time. So, when Christian first spotted Bandit, he took certain precautions to ensure that the bull understood he was not there to harm him in any manner. Christian gently patted Bandit on the head to build his trust, and his method eventually worked.

Christian loosened the shackles off Bandit’s feet, and the animal could not control his excitement. He did a heartfelt ‘dance of liberation,’ and seeing him have that freeing emotion for the first time ever warmed our hearts. We hope that additional chained animals will be able to experience what Bandit did as soon as possible.
