A 14-year-old girl named Mia awakens from a coma with no recollection and is promptly carried home by a woman claiming to be her mother. During a grocery visit, Mia notices her “missing” photo on a milk bottle, which causes her to rethink her identity and situation.
Mia wakes up in a hospital, unable to remember her history. Laura claims to be her mother and soon takes her home. Mia is uneasy in her new environment and detects inconsistencies, such as her childhood room appearing too young for her age. One day, while shopping, Mia notices a milk container with her portrait labeled “MISSING.”

Gripped by suspicion, Mia discreetly calls the carton number and discovers she has been ki: DNA: piped. When Laura catches her, she confines Mia in the basement. Mia finds Laura’s mental illness and believes Mia is her deceased daughter. Finally, Mia escapes with the help of the police, meeting with her true parents who had been looking for her.
