The tipping point occurred one morning in late March. Rebecca arrived at the farmhouse to take Indy to school, like she always did, but something unusual happened. They left after their morning prayer, but quickly returned to the kitchen. Rebecca then informed Rory that Indiana had something to tell them. With the purity and insight of a kid, she asked, “Ms. Rebecca, I think you should marry Papa.”

Rory was caught off guard, but deeply moved. Indiana expressed her explanation, stating, “My Mama has been gone a long time.
