I was 14–15 years old. We were going through a difficult time, and my parents’ salaries were constantly delayed. Finally, something nice happened: my father received his paycheck and a bonus! My shoes were absolutely worn out, and my jacket was very ancient. So my father went to the store and picked out new clothes for me: a jacket, boots, thermal tights, a hat, scarf, and gloves.

He went back home and said, “Come, sweetheart, try on your new clothes.” My joyful smile vanished as I saw what he had purchased. I almost cried when I saw the last thing. All of the garments he bought were the same hue, and he was doing his best to ensure that the shades didn’t differ significantly! It was eggplant-colored.
Are you teasing me? How is it feasible to wear this? I tossed the jacket at my father and fled away to my room, crying.

My mom entered the room. — You’re such an ungrateful person! Your father was doing his best. After wiping my tears, I realized she was probably correct. It was clear that he had chosen all of the colors with care, and he had done his best. Perhaps he was selecting each piece with affection. I began to feel humiliated. We didn’t have much money and ate cheap food, but he managed to buy me a complete set of new clothes.
I went to him to apologize; after all, they are just clothing. He sat in the kitchen crying! I had never witnessed his cry. — “Dad, please forgive me!” All of the clothing are extremely wonderful! I’ll wear them! “I love you so much!”

After that, he took me to exchange some of the goods, including the hat, scarf, and gloves. We paired the purple base with a crimson color. I was quite thrilled. My dad calmed down and was relieved. I apologized to him over and over again. My father promised that he would never longer buy anything without me. That was the arrangement!
