Boy cuddles his mother’s coffin after she dies while giving birth to his brother

Death is an unavoidable part of life, but many people believe that young children should be kept away from such emotional subjects. They fear that discussing death may confuse or harm their young minds. However, youngsters may encounter the harsh truths of life sooner than imagined. This was the case with Khayne Kheian Naelgas Castro, a 5-year-old kid from the Philippines who lost his mother after the delivery of his younger brother.

Tragically, the youngster didn’t completely get what death meant and assumed his mother was simply sleeping, resulting in a heartbreaking moment in which he fell asleep embracing her coffin. According to the foreign media outlet Tribun Pekanbaru, Khayne’s mother died as a result of problems with the birth of his younger brother, Cyril Khayzer Castro. The family was forced to mourn the loss of a young mother while caring for two small boys.

However, young Khayne was unable to realize the finality of death. He spent a lot of time sitting silently next to his mother’s coffin, looking down at her and waiting for her to wake. He’d occasionally rest his head on the coffin, his naive heart hoping that his mother was just sleeping. The boy’s grandmother, who witnessed the intimate moments, shared the heartbreaking scene on Facebook.

“This child asked me, ‘Why can’t mommy sleep with me anymore?'” the grandma stated in her article. She said that she couldn’t communicate the notion of death to the young youngster. Heartbroken, she could only watch as Khayne carried a little stool to the coffin, climbing up to look regretfully at his mother’s lifeless face. He tried to hug her, not realizing that she would never wake up again.

The photographs supplied by the grandma demonstrated Khayne’s intense longing for his mother. In one particularly moving photograph, the young kid is seen lying against a chair close to the casket, his small body clearly tired. He even placed three chairs together to form a makeshift bed and laid down by the coffin, as if he could see his mother in his dreams. His actions demonstrated his commitment and innocence, heightening the poignancy of the situation.

We hope he would grow up gradually and healthily after entering our life.” This story, while extremely sad, demonstrates the significance of supporting mourning families, particularly young children who may not completely comprehend the idea of death.
