Halle Berry responded wonderfully to trolls after posing naked in a new photo.

Criticism of one’s work is unavoidable and, on sometimes, even acceptable. Obviously, no artist will ever create anything that everyone likes all of the time, just as entertainers have bad nights on occasion. While fans voicing such views is part of being a celebrity, I believe we can all agree that we intended to be beyond personal attacks or trolling online.Unfortunately, we aren’t, and the internet has done a good job of acting as a megaphone in a town square with millions of seats.

Not only do celebrities face dissatisfied followers on a daily basis, but they also face a barrage of comments anytime they choose to open up on social media. Halle Berry was reminded of the internet’s harshness this weekend when she posted a stunning naked photo of herself. On Saturday, Halle Berry shocked the world by posting a selfie of herself standing on a balcony, drinking wine, and wearing nothing.

The 56-year-old Oscar winner captioned the photo, “I do what I wanna do.” While many of the replies in the comments section were positive (people congratulated Berry), some were cruel.”Imagine being in your 50s, still posting nudes for attention in menopause when you should be chilling with the grandkids,” one user commented on Berry’s nude photo. It is no longer feasible to age gracefully.”

Given Berry’s long history as an A-lister, one might expect her to dismiss her detractors and treat them with the contempt they deserve. However, this is not the fabric used to make the Catwoman star. No, the Hollywood star reacted with a quip that her followers found amusing. The “Monster’s Ball” star retweeted the shot, adding, “Did you guys know the heart of a shrimp is located in its head?”

“As someone your age.. keep living your best life and sharing whatever the hell you want when the hell you want,” a user wrote on Twitter. Another user remarked, “Imagine getting mad because a beautiful woman is proud of her body; that couldn’t be me.” Audra McDonald, an actress, wrote, “You won the internet today with this clap back.” The internet was truly won. Surprisingly, Berry’s response to the troll drew even more attention than the first statement.
