Sarah was both excited and scared on her wedding day. She worked hard to make this the most unforgettable day of her life. She thought that everything, from the venue to the cuisine and her ideal wedding gown, would be perfect. Her future husband was an excellent man, and she couldn’t wait to say “I do” to him and spend eternity with him.

As her father wrapped his arm around her, he told her that the day would be as lovely as she had always envisioned. She took his hand and proceeded down the aisle, tears of excitement in her eyes. There, with a glint in his eyes, was the guy of her dreams, looking directly at her. “The day couldn’t get any better,” she thought to herself as she took each stride.
She had written her vows long before he proposed, and as she was about to utter them aloud for all to hear, she observed a group of people approaching them from afar, carrying something. As they neared, she realized it was a coffin. It also has a bow on it.She assumed it was a joke. The guests were astonished. At that point, one of her fiance’s pals approached the coffin; the one who was constantly pulling foolish pranks and acting like he was still in high school.

He raised the lid of the casket and removed a photograph of Jason, the groom. He then began laughing along with the rest of his companions. It was their way of demonstrating that once Jason married, he would be “dead” to them, which meant no more beer nights or hanging out as usual. Jason, seeing how foolish his friend is, began laughing as well. The laughter spread among the guests, who found the scenario amusing and understood the friend’s message.
Sarah felt relieved. She wasn’t upset since, despite the absurdity of the prank, it made the whole trip even more memorable. She and Jason said their vows to one other, and their wedding day was a memorable affair that people talked about for weeks.
