We were driving in my family’s station wagon in the middle of the night when our tire blew out. My father did not stop and continued to drive at high speeds on the flat.
Eventually, the tire wore out and slid off, leaving us riding on the rim. Something wasn’t right. My father later shared that he witnessed a man throw a string of nails into the middle of the roadway, making it impossible to avoid. It was intended to rob and carjack the drivers. My father was aware of it and responded appropriately.
Here is another story. I and my friends discovered an abandoned house. We went inside and started roaming around, looking for something exciting. On the second floor, we discovered an ancient broken gramophone with a heavy layer of dust.

We did not touch anything; we simply looked around and decided to go. As we were leaving the house, I heard the phonograph begin to play quietly. When I asked my pals, they verified that they had heard the same sound.
