I misplaced my gold earrings. Two days later, I saw my neighbor on the elevator, and she was wearing them. She stated, “My boyfriend gifted me those earrings.” I told her they were vintage and once belonged to my husband’s grandmother.

She sat quiet for a moment before smirking and saying, “Then, it’s time for you to have a serious talk with your husband.” When I told my spouse, he turned pale. It turns out he had been having an affair with this neighbor for four months, right under my nose, and I was completely unaware!
