Marias Branyas Morera (@MariaBranyas112), also known as the Super Catalan Grandma, was the oldest person to ever live, at 117 years old. Although she died in August 2024, the riddle about her longevity has yet to be solved. Along with nutritional advice and life lessons, the late Spanish woman shared her secret food to longevity in a resurrected post on X (formerly Twitter).

“Many people ask me what diet I follow to live thus long. I’ve always eaten little but everything, and I’ve never been on a diet,” Morera said in the first half of her unearthed December 2022 article. She also stated that she had never suffered from “any illness” or had an operation or surgery. Before imparting her little secret, Super Catalan Grandma acknowledged luck’s role in affecting longevity in anyone’s life. “I believe that longevity is also about luck. “Luck and good genetics,” she stated.study

Finally, Morera revealed that she drinks yogurt on a daily basis, emphasizing the importance of preserving food in the face of changing dietary preferences. She cited a Bulgarian research as evidence, describing yogurt as a “lifelong food” with more positive properties than any other food. “In an age where diets and miraculous foods for well-being and health are constantly emerging, it is necessary to save yogurt,” the late celebrity said in a follow-up post.

In subsequent posts, the grandma elaborated on the benefits of consuming yogurt. According to MedicalNewsToday, yogurt is a dairy product prepared by fermenting milk with microorganisms that is high in protein and calcium. Morera also claimed that “regular consumption extends life.” She even mentioned a Persian custom that suggested Abraham’s long life was due to his continuous consumption of this dairy dish.

Speaking for herself, the Catalan native revealed that La Fageda yogurt has been her go-to for years. She termed it the “most unique yogurt” ever created because of the company’s deep history, principles, purpose, and devotion. “For 20 years, it has been my “heavenly manna.” The finest yogurt in the world. “It gives life, it is life,” she wrote to promote La Fageda yogurt. During her latter years, Morera worked with academics from the University of Barcelona on a lifespan study.

Fans were captivated by the late woman’s energy and outlook on life. One follower, @graboignasi, advised the “young people” to listen to Morera’s words, describing her as a person with “globality” who has always approached life with a generous and hopeful perspective. However, a critic, @cserventbatlle, disputed the prominent woman’s assertions about yogurt. He mentioned that the food item was the third tier of the food pyramid. He likened it to fruit, claiming that the latter is healthier because it has no preservatives. The critic did, however, admire Morera’s life advise, writing, “You are truly enviable. I shall attempt to follow your suggestions; I believe it is the key.”
