She is only 36 and has 44 children . You will never guess how this family lives

The most prolific woman in the world, a resident of Uganda, Mariam Nabatanzi, underwent surgery, after which she will not be able to have children. By the age of 36, she had 44 native children. The thing is that as a result of a rare genetic anomaly, not one, but several eggs ripen in Mariam every month. Oral contraceptives did not work on the woman, so the doctors decided to bandage her fallopian tubes.

Mariam’s story goes as follows: she married at the age of 12 and had twins a year later. Following her firstborn, the woman gave birth to twins five times, triplets four times, and quadrupeds five times. A mother with a large family admitted that she never wanted more than six children.

“I grew up crying. “I’ve spent my entire life caring for my children and working to support them,” Mariam admitted. Nonetheless, she adores her children and wishes for them to have a good life and a good education. Mariam was abandoned by her husband three years ago, and she now educates the children on her own, with her entire salary going to school and food.

The woman works as a hairdresser, and decorator, collects scrap metal, sews clothes, bakes cakes and lays bricks, and brews gin. Mariam’s 23-year-old eldest son dropped out of school to help his mother raise brothers and sisters. A large family lives in four houses located next door, but there is still not enough space – some have to spend the night on the street.
