When a husband lost his wedding ring in a river 17 years ago, he never expected to see it again. But, after all these years, it miraculously reappeared! A woman from British Columbia, Canada, discovered a wedding band while swimming in the Penticton channel. The owner, Noel Nissan, learned of the ring’s discovery after it was lost over two decades ago on a summer trip with friends while floating down the river. “I thought, ‘Yeah, that’s certainly ours,’ but the ring had been missing for so long.” “I was very stunned,” Noel remarked.

And after all that time, the wedding band was in shockingly good shape! “You wouldn’t believe how well it’s kept after 17 years in the canal,” Noel added. “I would have imagined it would have been worn down by years of water and sand running over it.” The rebirth of this wedding ring couldn’t have come at a better moment for Noel and Stephanie, who are ready to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary. They want to mark the occasion with a family vacation and maybe a romantic retreat for just the two of them.
