Homeless Woman Who Spent 28 Years on the Street Tells Family “I Love You” and Gets a Miracle

Linda, a lady suffering from addiction and chronic disease, had been homeless for 28 years. She hadn’t seen her children, mother, or sisters in years, and her family was frightened about whether they’d ever see Linda again.However, by January 2023, plans were in place to ensure that this homeless woman had a miraculous reunion with her loved ones! Linda, who lived beneath the 14th Street bridge in Miami’s Overtown district, had met Gabby numerous times. Linda, on the other hand, recounted a dream during a conversation on a frigid Tuesday in January. Linda expressed her desire to reunite with her mother and children to Gabby.

Gabby works with Miracle Messages, an award-winning non-profit organization. Miracle Messages assist persons who are homeless in rebuilding their social and financial lives. Gabby listened to Linda and discussed the Miracle Messages reunification process.Linda was concerned about what might occur and how her family members might react. She did, however, leave a message for Gabby’s children. She wanted Gabby to simply tell them how much she missed and loved them.

Darlene, Linda’s mother, was found by one of Miracle Messages’ volunteer online detectives in less than a week. And so the stage was set for a miraculous reunion between the homeless woman and her loved ones! Darlene quickly informed Linda’s relatives that she had been recovered. “The only way I can describe it is as a miracle.” “I never gave up hope of finding her,” she explained to Gabby. It had been two years since Linda’s children Evelynn and Marcos–now both in their 30s–had gotten an update from their mother.

They scheduled a flight to Florida right away and met Gabby. Though it took some time, the three eventually located Linda, and she consented to come home with her children! “I think God just has a time for everything, and this was her time,” one of Linda’s daughters explained. Linda participated in a rehab program after returning to Wisconsin. Linda’s family is ecstatic with Gabby and Miracle Messages. Gabby was asked to a reunion a few months later.

“We waited 28 years,” Linda’s sister Angie said. Every year, every day, every hour, I wondered where she was and if we’d ever locate her–afraid of getting the phone call that something had happened to her and no one knew who her family was.” “Gabby sat with me on the ground that night, and it was cold,” Linda recalled of Gabby’s kindness. She took down my contact details. That is something I will never forget. Gabby. I adore you. You will be a part of this family for the rest of your life.”
