We all have someone in our lives who we look up to. For Colby, a two-year-old from Simsbury, Connecticut, that person is his neighborhood mail delivery, affectionately known as “Mailman Mike.” Mike has the coolest job on the planet, according to the toddler. Colby’s mother, Jessica Bergman, claims that her son not only admires the postman, but the entire USPS.”He always looks forward to seeing him.” “We search for mail trucks in the wild,” she explained to Today.
When Mailman Mike learned about Colby’s upcoming second birthday, he decided to do something special for his biggest fan. To surprise the kid, the mail carrier staged a parade of mail vehicles on his neighborhood with the help of his colleagues post office employees! There were also firetrucks, garbage trucks, a police cruiser, and a loving canine that came out to meet the youngster.
That’s not all! The post office also gave Colby a gift: a Cozy Coupe automobile fashioned to appear like a mail truck. This would be useful when he received his second gift: a certificate designating him as a “honorary letter carrier.”Jessica videotaped the surprise procession and shared it on TikTok, where it quickly went viral. “I am completely blown away,” the mother stated in her caption. “Our son is infatuated with mail vehicles and Mailman Mike, our mail guy.
The Simsbury United States Postal Service planned a truck parade in front of our house to celebrate his birthday. “So many employees showed up to help us celebrate.”Everyone in the comments section exclaimed over the thoughtful birthday gift, complimenting Mailman Mike. “What am I crying about?” “This is the sweetest thing ever!!!!” said one person, while another added, “Imagine how much better the world would be if everyone treated each other like this.”
