Valerie Bertinelli, two years after the heartbreak of her divorce, has found love – and you might recognize him.

Valerie Bertinelli, who earlier declared that she was not looking for a new lover, has announced on Instagram that she has found one after the heartbreak of her previous engagements. The 63-year-old made it official on Instagram last Friday, captioning a selfie with lyrics from Taylor Swift’s song So High School, which is allegedly about the singer’s current lover Travis Kelce.

The post came two years after the singer’s divorce from ex-husband Tom Vitale and four years after the death of her first husband, Eddie Van Halen.”I’ll drink what you think and I’m high from smokin’ your jokes all damn night” Bertinelli penned the caption for the post. According to Entertainment Tonight, Valerie has fallen in love with writer Mike Goodnough, who runs the popular site The Hoarse Whisperer.

Bertinelli, an actress and television personality, sparked rumors earlier this month when she told USA TODAY, “I’ve met someone. And I am extremely grateful for him. “This is unlike any connection I’ve ever had with a man. I don’t want to reveal too much, but I feel really thankful and fortunate to have met him. I was going to die with my six cats and dog and be really happy about it.”

In an essay titled “Rumours, Rumours, Rumours…”, Goodnough revealed on his Substack this week that the rumors he was dating Bertinelli were accurate. He sarcastically revealed in the piece that he had asked “Ms. Bertinelli” in a “reporterly voice” if there was “any truth to the rumour you are dating me?” Would you like to leave a comment?

He continued: “She said, ‘It’s true. I definitely am. “You are my boyfriend.'” Bertinelli recently discussed her prior marriage to Eddie Van Halen in her new cookbook, Indulge. She wrote in the cookbook, which was published on April 12, “Though we got divorced, Ed and I never stopped loving each other.” Bertinelli continued, “Who knows, if not for cancer, we might have gotten a second wind. “I am pretty sure that is wistful thinking.”

Valerie explained how she began following Goodnough on social media in 2016 or 2017, and how he responded in 2018. Following Valerie and Tom Vitale’s divorce in 2022, the two most likely began messaging one other. She referred to Goodnough as “a really super funny, incredibly talented writer.” This month, the actress announced, “I’m in love.” It’s a roller coaster of emotions since I was certain I’d never fall in love again.
