This 13-year-old artist gets Simon Cowell to stand up and applaud three times

On this episode of ‘America’s Got Talent,’ a 13-year-old vocalist impresses both the audience and Simon Cowell. She sang ‘I’ll Stand by You’ by ‘The Pretenders.’Before the song begins, Howie Mandel asks Angelina if she and her mother are close. Angie responds, “Very close; she is my best friend!” Angie tells the judges that music helped her process her feelings following her parents’ divorce.

Young Angelina begins the strong song, and her voice overwhelms the listeners. The first few of opening notes elicit resounding acclaim from the audience, and the judges are taken aback by her tone.Angie closes the song with a few passionate riffs. She sounds like a 30-year-old experienced singer with a strong stage presence. The audience literally goes wild!

Simon rises from his chair in a standing ovation, accompanied by the other judges. He smiles widely as he admires her talent. Cowell says, “Great Voice!” You gave me goose bumps! I am genuinely excited because I believe you are an extremely gifted individual. Howie compliments Angelina on her ability to harness her grief to create wonderful music that moves people emotionally. The judges all praised her bravery and performance.
