Jennifer Lopez has called off her Greatest Hits summer tour to spend more time with her family, according to TMZ. The 54-year-old musician had planned to hit the road in late June, but has instead decided to stay at home and spend time with family and friends. Lopez used her website to convey the difficult decision to her fans.
“I am extremely heartbroken and saddened over disappointing you. Please understand that I would not do this unless I felt it was essential,” she stated. “I pledge to make it up to you, and we’ll all be together again. I adore you all very much.
“Until next time.”Although there were allegations of low ticket sales, a source told the DailyMail that they were false and had nothing to do with Lopez’s decision to cancel the tour.
“This was a very difficult decision made by Jennifer this week and she’s sorry to her fans.”Fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will be instantly refunded, while those who purchased tickets from a third party must contact the place of purchase.
