A royal expert reveals the one thing Prince Harry ‘has always hated’ about his father Charles.

Previously, Prince Harry and Prince William appeared to have an unbreakable friendship. Unfortunately, no one expected the two brothers’ relationship to reach its lowest point. Growing up, Harry trusted William the most. “He is the one person on this earth who, I can, you know, we can talk about anything and understand each other and give each other support and everything’s fine,” Harry remarked of his brother on his 21st birthday. A year ago, the younger prince addressed his older sibling as his “archnemesis.”

William and Harry were devastated as children when their mother, Princess Diana, was killed in a vehicle accident. This tragedy drew the brothers, who were 12 and 15 at the time, closer than before. In his book Spare, Harry recounted the horrific experience of learning of his mother’s death. He remembered how his father sat alongside his bed and told him, “Darling boy, Mummy has been in a car accident.”

There were difficulties. “Mummy was severely injured and taken to the hospital, darling boy,” Harry remembered his father saying. “He had always called me ‘darling lad,’ but he was using it a lot lately. His voice sounded gentle. He appeared to be in astonishment. “With a head injury. They tried, dear boy. “I am afraid she did not make it.” The prince further stated that Charles placed his hand on his knee and said, “It’s going to be OK,” but “didn’t hug” him. “Everyone knows where they were and what they were doing the night my mother died,” said Harry.

“I cried once, at the burial, and you know I go into detail about how strange it was and how actually there was some guilt that I felt and I think William felt as well, by walking around the outside of Kensington Palace.” “There were 50,000 bouquets of flowers to our mother and there we were shaking people’s hands, smiling,” he said. “I’ve watched the videos, and I reviewed everything. We couldn’t understand why their hands were moist, but it was because they were wiping away all of their tears.”

The picture of Princes William and Harry marching behind her casket on the day of her funeral will live with many Britons. Later, Harry lambasted the choice that forced the two young boys to walk around London in front of the entire globe.”My mother had just died, and I had to walk a long way behind her coffin, surrounded by thousands of people watching me while millions more did on television,” he stated to Newsweek in 2017. “I do not believe any youngster should be required to do that, under any circumstances. I do not think it would happen today.”

Today, William and Harry rarely talk to one another. Despite claims that they try to reach out to one another, many claim they never speak on the phone. One of the most shocking accusations made in Spare, whose title purportedly refers to Harry’s “spare” role as the King’s second son or the fact that he has been “spared” from his family, is the brothers’ passionate dispute over Meghan Markle.According to Harry, his brother described Meghan as “difficult,” “rude,” and “abrasive.”

Harry described how William visited Nottingham Cottage, then Harry and Meghan’s home on the Kensington Palace grounds in London, to discuss “the whole rolling catastrophe” of their relationship and issues with the press. However, the discussion devolved into a fierce argument. In effort to settle things down, Harry handed his brother a glass of water.’

“He laid down the water, called me another name, and then charged at me. It all happened so quickly. So quickly. He grabbed me by the collar, ripped my necklace, and knocked me to the ground. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked beneath my back and slashed into me. I remained there for a time, confused, before getting to my feet and telling him to leave.”

William allegedly urged Harry to hit back, but Harry refused. “What was different here was the level of frustration, and I talk about the red mist that I had for so many years, and I saw this red mist in him,” wrote Harry. “He wanted me to hit him back, but I chose not to.” Harry’s relationship with his father may be better than that with his brother, but they are still not as close as they previously were. According to royal author Tom Quinn, Harry attempted to set up a conversation with his father on Father’s Day but was met with reluctance.

“Harry has tried to schedule a call with his father already, but his father is prevaricating with Camilla advising against anything that might upset King Charles,” Quinn stated to the Mirror. “He understands that the entire world will be waiting to see if he is mature enough to approach his father. He is resolved to ignore his poor connection with his father, and he will undoubtedly send a nice message.

Quinn stated that while Harry wishes to make amends, he has one major issue: he believes King Charles does not care enough about him and instead “supports” William over his younger son. “It’s easy to forget that Harry really does love his father; he just hates the fact that Charles seems always to support William when there is a family dispute,” Quinn stated to the Mirror. Hopefully, Harry and the rest of the royals will ultimately reconcile.
