Woman reveals five colon can-cer symptoms that should not be ignored

How much do you understand about colon cancer? A single mother has come forward to speak about her struggle with stage four colon cancer in an effort to raise awareness about the warning flags she ignored. Radwah Oda, a mother of one from Texas, has been juggling raising her child, working an office job, and fighting cancer.

She went popular on TikTok when she shared a video about her experience that has received over 2.3 million views, revealing the signs she entirely ignored. She has advised the people to take their health more seriously and not disregard these frequently dismissed symptoms, which are huge warning signals. Changes to Stool. Radwah began by sharing one of her early indicators of colon cancer. Her bowel habits had altered. She observed her feces become more pencil-shaped, which she initially disregarded as moderate constipation.

Another Colon Cancer Symptom. She noticed that her feces contained little amounts of blood, which she suspected was caused by hemorrhoids. This appears to be routinely missed. She also claimed that she never felt her bowels were completely empty after going to the bathroom. “Every time I used the restroom, I felt as if I still needed to go. I’d keep pressing, but nothing would come out. She explained.

Unexplained pain. Abdominal discomfort is another commonly reported symptom in the cancer community. As colon cancer spreads, the discomfort may spread to other places. Oda described her pain as beginning below her right breast and dismissing it as an ill-fitting bra. “I just assumed my bra was too tight, even though it was just on one side,” she told me.

This pain, however, indicated that the colon cancer had spread to her liver. This alone should emphasize the significance of regularly monitoring strange pains and seeking medical assistance if they persist, as they may indicate a more serious condition. Chronic fatigue. Radwah was also feeling chronic weariness, which is a common indication of colon cancer. She discovered that despite obtaining ample rest, she was continually fatigued. She eventually began taking many naps throughout the day. “I would still need to take a nap a few times during the day and nothing really helped,” according to her.

Chronic fatigue is frequent among cancer patients, particularly those with colon cancer, because it drains the body while depleting its resources. In another video, she explained the additional symptoms she was having prior to obtaining her cancer diagnosis. She suffered from continuous weight loss, a weak appetite, and severe stomach discomfort. “Up until doctors told me I had cancer, I blamed these symptoms on a ‘really bad stomach bug,'” she said CNN. These are commonly overlooked, but it is critical to seek medical assistance if you notice inexplicable changes in your body.
