A mother has reportedly called the cops on her own son after he behaved in a disrespectful manner towards his teacher at school. 33-year-old Chiquita Hill says she’s a single mom and she’s worked really hard to raise her children alone. Therefore, for her, manners and etiquette mean everything!

And that’s one of the main reasons why she’s going out of her way to teach her son a lesson after his recent episode with a teacher at school. As recently reported by ABC, the mother found out about her son’s attitude one day. His class teacher made it a point to inform the parent personally and hence she showed up at her door to tell her what had happened.

She spoke in detail about how appalled she became to learn about her son’s behavior and hence was facing a long list of issues. “Sean has really been acting up recently. I just don’t know what has gotten into him”- the teacher explained to Hill in a worried tone. And as you can imagine, the mother was really taken aback by surprise.

The teacher went on to say that this was not the first time she’d seen her son behave in this manner and that she believed it was her responsibility to inform the mother first before the situation escalated and engaged the school administration. Hill says she was grateful for the instructor taking the time to come,

and that’s when the parent decided to contact the cops because she believed that the only way to stop it all was to shock him so he’d never act in this manner again. She contacted Columbus Police officers and alerted them of the matter. And, while the mother wasn’t sure if they could help her, they were really friendly.

The mother pretended that the police were going to arrest him for his attitude, but her son Sean didn’t believe her. And that’s when the cops arrived, acting as if they were there to arrest him. They were all on board with the plan until Sean was handcuffed and sat inside the cops’ car. Soon after, he was released, and he returned home, sobbing to his mother, vowing never to make the same mistake again.
